When grief hits - it hits the body, mind, and spirit.
Our whole being is impacted.

We do our very best to be functional with our households,  jobs/careers, and families.

This often leads us to be overwhelmed and exhausted.

And, we struggle to feel well when grief is present.
We feel resigned, powerless, and helpless.

No more!!
There are "How to's" that are simple to learn and practice.

Join me for a Holiday Series for Mind-Body Exercises for grief and emotional release!

I'm AmarAtma.

I'm so excited to share these classes with you. I've been practicing movement-based meditation for over 20 years! The exercises I want to share with you are exercises I practice daily and ones that have had a tremendous impact on my life. To be light and clear, especially amidst the vast and scary terrain of emotions, is held through regulating the nervous system with a combination of Breath, Movement, and Rhythm.

I started practicing meditation in high school. After years of intuitive DIY-style personal practice, I became grounded in traditional yoga and meditation after backpacking in Chile for three months in 2003. I dedicated time to Sikh spirituality by means and in part with Kundalini Yoga before embarking on a five-year Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I learned trauma-informed somatic healing.

After 12 years of teaching yoga and meditation formally, I began my grief training as a Chaplain and utilized a mindfulness approach to my emotional and spiritual care. I started coaching while serving in-patient as a Chaplain at a Level 1 Trauma center in Downtown Phoenix, training nurses, doctors, and patients in exercises for emotional relief.

Since I've continued my somatic education and training with Lee Holden's Holden Qi Gong Program, these exercises will be the foundation for many things I'll share.

I am excited to have you!

Hey there!  Let me introduce myself!

Yes!! This is for those who have no experience or even advanced experienced in yoga and meditation. Grief hits us all and these exercise will be specific for emotional release and emotional regulation. Each exercise can be done sitting in a chair and will have modifications to support.

I don't have much experience with meditation or yoga? Can i still participate?

Each class will have a standing practice and finish with a sitting meditation. The focus will be on mindful movement. Exercises will begin with invigorating practice to get the body moving, then a breathing exercise finishing with a mindfulness meditation. We'll plan for 45 min for each class and will be offered through zoom. You don't have to be on video and dress comfortably.

How will each class be set up?

Unfortunately no. To attend the class will require you to attend LIVE. No replays will be available for the classes.

Will there be replays if I cannot attend?

Not at all! While each class will be stand alone, we will be building towards deeper growth and emotional release. The cumulative effect is greater resiliency. Join at your convenience and attend as you feel comfortable and have the availability.

To sign up, do i have attend every class?

The series is free!! It's a gift for the this holiday season. As 2023 arrives however, a membership series will be created along with online courses that will require payment to participate.

What is the fee for this series?
